• Depending on the service category, specific nationalities are required for unique UPSC exams. Candidates for the IFS, IPS, and IAS need to be residents of India.
• Candidates have to be citizens of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, people of Indian origin (PIO) migrating from particular international locations with the goal of settling completely in India, or Tibetan refugees arriving before 1 January 1962, with a purpose of being considered for all other services.

The candidate must be at least 21 years of age and must not have attained the age of 32 on the 1st of August of the year of examination.
