Traffic Police Issues Route Plan For Shab-E-Meraj in J&K – Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police City on Wednesday notified a special route plan and parking slots for the upcoming Shab-e-Meraj celebrations at the Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar.
An advisory issued by SSP Traffic City Srinagar, Muzaffar Ahmad Shah said that a large number of devotees are expected to assemble at Asari Sharief Hazratbal for the celebrations of Mehraj-ul-Aalam (SAW) on the intervening night of February 7 and 8, 2024. On 9 February 2024 (Friday) a large number of devotees are also expected to assemble at the Holy Shrine at Hazratbal.
“Traffic Police has made elaborate traffic arrangements for smooth flow of traffic coming from different districts of the Valley carrying devotees to the Holy Shrine at Hazratbal. Following routes have been earmarked for the traffic coming from both North and South of Kashmir valley including Central Districts,” the advisory states.

For NORTH KASHMIR: Vehicles coming from North Kashmir carrying devotees after reaching Shalteng shall adopt the following route to reach Hazratbal, Shrine. Shalteng – Parimpora – Qamarwari – Cement Bridge – Noorbagh – Sekidafar – Eidgah – Aali Masjid – Sazgaripora – Hawal – Alamgari Bazar – Mill Stop – Molvi Stop (Lal Bazar) – Botshah Mohallah – Kanitar – University Parking Saderbal Side (Sir Syed Gate).
