TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR Jk Traffic update Today Road Block for 2 hours

1. From 04-02-2024, 1700 hrs. to 05-02-2024, 1700 hrs., Jammu-

Srinagar NHW remained blocked for 02 hrs. 40 mins. due to road

maintenance work at Dalwas. Slow movement was observed on

NH-44 due to breakdown of 02 HMVs, poor surface condition of

road at Dalwas, Mehar, Hingani, Sherbibi and single lane traffic at

Kishtwari Pather and Hingani between Nashri and NAVYUG

Tunnel.

2. To ensure safety of general populace/travellers /drivers,

NHAI has been directed by the District Magistrate Ramban

vide order no. ADMR/2028-38 dated 05-02-2024 for widening of

road at Kishtwari Pather and Dalwas, as a result traffic will

remain suspended between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel

tomorrow on 06-02-2024 (Tuesday) from 0800 hrs to 07-02-

2024 (Wednesday) 0800 hrs. People are advised to avoid

journey on Jammu Srinagar NHW between Nashri and

NAVYUG Tunnel tomorrow on 06-02-2024 (Tuesday) from 0800

hrs to 07-02-2024 (Wednesday) 0800 hrs and plan their journey

accordingly.
