GMC Jammu Recruitment 2023: has invited applications on plain paper (Typed) for the posts of Medical Officers/ Casualty Officers, Resident Medical Officers lying vacant (Non-PSC) for engagement on an “Academic Arrangement basis” initially for a period of one year extendable up-to a maximum of six years or till the selection is made on regular basis in accordance with rules of Recruitment Governing the respective posts, by the PSC.

Eligibility Criteria for GMC Jammu Recruitment 2023
The required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, age limit etc have been listed below as per Recruitment Notification.
Education Qualification
| Medical Officer | MBBS, Registration of Medical Council of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir / Medical Council of India is pre-requisite for the eligibility of the candidate |
Age Limit
The minimum age required for the posts is 23 years and the maximum age limit is 50 years.
Selection Process
Pre-Award Roll Merit: 70 Points
i) Criteria for Screening:- Academic career: 40 marks
ii) Distinction Scholarship, Honours Medals and certificate: upto a maximum of 5 marks.
iii) House Job experience in a teaching institution: 05 marks
iv) Experience certificate: 05 marks
v) Postgraduate Degree: Maximum 05 marks
vi) Professional Publication: 10 marks
Viva Voce: 30 Points
