Train Timing in Kashmir 2026: Northern Railway revises its train timetable annually to enhance operational efficiency and passenger convenience.
As part of the annual timetable revision, changes have been made in the timings of several trains operating in the Jammu Division, which will come into effect from January 1, 2026.
 Indian Railways has revised the train timetable in the Jammu Division with effect from January 1, 2026, to enhance operational efficiency and passenger convenience. The revision covers timing changes for around 33 trains operating from key stations including Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur), Jammu, and Pathankot.
The changes have been introduced to meet public demand, improve infrastructure, increase train speeds, review speed restrictions, and address operational constraints. The objective is to ensure punctual train operations and better connectivity.

Approximately 33 trains operating in the Jammu Division have undergone timing revisions. These trains operate from key stations including Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur), Jammu, and Pathankot.
Passengers are advised to check the updated train schedules through official Indian Railways platforms such as the Indian Railways website, NTES, India Rail Info, Confirm Ticket, or by calling the Railway Helpline number 139 before planning their journey.
Speaking on the timetable revision, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Jammu Division, Uchit Singhal, said. “The timetable revision is part of a comprehensive operational improvement initiative aimed at providing passengers with faster, more efficient, and convenient rail travel.
The revised schedule reflects savings in travel time and improved connectivity. Passengers are requested to verify train timings through NTES or helpline number 139
